What the service covers
Included are the glass surfaces inside and out, the frames in uPVC, aluminium or timber, and the rebates. The rebate is the recessed channel where pollen and cobwebs collect. Skip it and the window looks streaky after the first shower.

Two moments almost always pay off: after the pollen season in June, and after the road-salt season in March.
Pure water and working at height
Mains water leaves lime and salts on the glass as it dries. The water around Ulm is fairly hard, so it shows here more than elsewhere.
Pure-water technology takes exactly that out. Reverse osmosis and a mixed-bed resin strip the water close to fully deionised. It lifts the dirt, goes on through a brush on a carbon-fibre pole, and dries without residue. Nothing is left to squeegee off.
Up to around 18 metres — roughly the fifth floor — we work from the ground. No scaffolding, no pavement closure, no desks to clear. Above that, or on projecting façades, we bring a powered access platform, shown as a separate line.
Inside, hand work with applicator and squeegee stays the better method. In sustained frost we do not clean and move the appointment.
Frequently asked questions
How often should windows be cleaned?
Office façades are typically done two to four times a year, shopfronts with passing trade weekly to fortnightly. There is no legal requirement.
The address matters more than the building: the same pane is visibly grey after six weeks on a main road and fine after six months in a quiet street. The table above sorts the common locations in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
Do you clean the frames and rebates too?
Yes. Frames, rebates, seals and handles are included and named explicitly in the schedule of work, along with the inner sill.
That is not a given: many quotes cost the pane alone and invoice frames and rebates as an extra. Ask any competing quote about it directly.
How high can you work without scaffolding?
Up to around 18 metres with pure-water poles, roughly the fifth floor. Above that, or on projecting façades, we bring a powered access platform.
We do not use ladders beyond the permitted standing height, and we do not offer rope access — we are not certified for it, and better said beforehand.
Do you charge per window or per square metre?
Per square metre of glass, measured once. The area counts once and covers the inside and the outside face.
A flat rate per window sounds simpler but breaks down as soon as a building has mixed sizes: a roof light and a shop window are both “one window”. For uniform residential blocks we can add a per-unit figure.
